A Mother’s Love
Sherry isn't just one of our Huntersville, NC, Diamond Experts; she's a mother and, unfortunately, an expert on loss. Recently Sherry lost her 23-year-old son. Sherry uses the pain she feels every day to reach others and help them in their healing process. Of course, the pain doesn't go away, but talking to others about her son and giving back to other mothers who have lost a child gives her inner peace.
Mother’s Day After Loss
For Sherry's first Mother's Day after losing her son, she visited the ocean and felt called to help other mothers experiencing the excruciating pain of loss. With the help of friends who reached out to any mothers they knew who had experienced the loss of a child, Sherry sent 120 pairs of 7mm pearl earrings to mothers across the country.
She chose not to sign the gift because these pearl earrings were a gift from their child. Their child may not be with them physically, but they will always be in their heart. Sherry knows that by helping others heal, she can also begin to heal herself.
